Release Notes 20.08 - April 2020

Last updated: April 30, 2020

What’s new in version 20.08

Bug Fixes

Web

  • There was a bug that caused some NRBs (non-recurring billables) to show up as blank when the PDF was generated. This has been fixed and we’re no longer drawing a blank.

iOS

  • We fixed a bug that caused the app to crash if WBS fields were null. This bug has been null-ified.

Improvements

Web

  • You’ll now be able to create a form or ticket while in the Job Attachment tab. Feel free to get attached to this function.

  •  You can now see how many items you’ve selected in a report. Additionally, the footer will be updated based on the rows you’ve selected.

  • We’ve added a new sales tax for Saskatchewan for those items that are tax exempt (PST only). No one likes sales tax, but we’re hoping you don’t mind this feature.

  • This one is all about WBS conversion rules - to the untrained ear, perhaps not that exciting, but to us Aimsio users, we’re pretty stoked. When you create a new schedule, either from scratch or by copying it from another job, the WBS conversion rules will also be created. This also pertains to existing jobs. If you open the job and click “Save Schedule”, the missing conversion rules will be automatically added. And finally, you can review the newly created rules by going to Job > WBS Schedule > Configuration Window.

  • If you have the Invoice module and are interested in adding additional invoice statuses, speak to one of our Implementation Specialists or reach out to us through our support line. We’d love to hear from you.

  • And last, but certainly not least, we’ve added a third option when comparing budget vs. actuals. You can now compare Extra (billables) against budget.

  • Tables now have the ability to display a column footer for SUM, AVG, or COUNT, helping you view data in highlighted rows more easily. This feature needs to be turned on by one of our Implementation Specialists so please reach out to us through our support line if you’re interested.
