Dispatching is now easier than ever. There are three different ways to dispatch crew and equipment by using either: Job Board, Job Timeline, or Resource Timeline. Here’s a brief breakdown of each:

Job Board: The dispatching method we all know and love. Each job is a card, and each card has the resources associated with the job. Ya’ll are familiar with this one already.

Job Timeline: Instead of the card format, your jobs are displayed in a horizontal timeline format. View all of your jobs in any given time period and scroll to the right to view entire timeline.

Resource Timeline: Toggle between either Crew or Equipment at the top of the screen. Then further filter by trade or compliancy.

Now that you’re familiar with the new Job Timeline view for dispatching, we have another exciting feature within that view…a new pop up window that will allow you to dispatch all resources to a job with just one click. Right click, select either “Create New Crew Record” or “Create New Equipment Record” and then select the resources you want applied to the job. Easy peasy.

And for our dispatching Grande Finale…introducing….PLACEHOLDERS! Unsure of which resource you want to add to a job? Simply add a placeholder instead. Access these placeholders the same way you access the pop up window within the new Job Timeline view.

And now for something not dispatch related: The Billable Items tabs now has a new import feature. You’ll be able to specify how you want to map the CSV columns to Aimsio fields.
