Release Notes 23.13 - July 2023

Last updated: July 6, 2023

What’s new in version 23.13

We’ve introduced a few new features this week! If you have any questions feel free to get in touch with our support team.

Default Invoice Type & PDF Templates

  • We now support a single default invoice type for all accounts. These invoice types consist of every billable line item on an associated Ticket. We also surface more information related to each item.
  • Items can be grouped and sorted to a customer’s specific preference using our new PDF Template Editor. Authorized users will have access to the editor on an account’s Master Data page.
  • Template previews provide a seamless way to test and settle on a preferred layout. Make as many adjustments as required before saving.
  • Templates are selected at the time an invoice PDF is generated. There are no limits on the number of templates that can be stored to an account.

For more information on working with invoice templates, please see the following Product Guide documentation: Invoice PDF Templates.

Invoice Retainage (Holdbacks)

  • Invoices can now support retainage. A percentage of funds can be held back each time a client is invoiced.
  • At any point during the course of a job, funds can be released on a subsequent invoice.

For more information on working with retainage (holdbacks), please see: Invoice Retainage.

Client Portal

  • We’re introducing a new e-signature solution with stronger support for multiple approvers and mobile devices. Current approvals will still use on our previous service (signNow). See our Client Portal documentation for more information.

Shift Premiums

  • We’ve developed a new framework for our clients looking to manage rate premiums associated with conditional employee shift work. For more information please see:How can Aimsio Handle Shift Premiums?

RFIs

For our customers using Aimsio Ultimate, we’ve introduced a solution for team’s requiring RFIs in advance of Change Orders.

  • Completed and approved RFIs can be linked directly with new Change Orders, carrying vital information directly across. For more information please see: Product Guide - RFIs.
