Dispatch Confirmation Requests via SMS or Calendar
Dispatchers can now choose how to send confirmation requests to scheduled crew members, with support for both standard SMS notifications and direct Calendar Invites. With calendar invites, the request saves directly into the employee’s personal device calendar app (such as Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, or Apple Calendar).

Flexible Channels: When triggering a confirmation request from the dispatch board, dispatchers can select whether to notify the employee via SMS text, a calendar invite, or both channels to ensure maximum visibility.

Dynamic Schedule Syncing: Calendar invites stay actively connected to Aimsio’s backend. If a dispatcher changes the dates on the dispatch board, shifts an employee to a new timeline, or updates an entry, the system automatically pushes an updated calendar notification to modify their schedule. No more incorrect schedule blocks on your crew’s device.
- Automated Cancellations: If a dispatch assignment is deleted or a job is removed entirely from the board, a cancellation notice is instantly pushed to the employee’s device, cleanly updating or clearing the entry so their calendar remains accurate.
